This bible record was found in a box held by Florence's descendant Debbie Mcgalin. Fastened to this bible record with a paper clip were the articles from History of Wabasha County about the Bundy and Russel families, with "Ruth" written on the back of the pages (see these pages in a different album within Francis and Lucy's folders). Also in the box was a poem book Lucy wrote for her daughter Ruth, as well as sympathy cards given to Ruth when Lucy died. Thus, it appears this material was passed by Bud to Debbie's mother Pat upon Ruth's death in 1982. (Original: Debbie Mcgalin) Viewed: 1047 times.

On the back of the previous page, we find the birthdates of Lindsay and Lucy, along with a calculation -- it was presumably Lucy who calculated that she was 12 years, 1 month, and 11 days older than her step-son, Lindsay. Viewed: 1108 times.

Note that Lucy recorded her own surname as Boughton, but her name was actually Lucy Whaley. She was raised by the family of Benjamin Boughton and his wife Ida Segar after being orphaned. Viewed: 1135 times.
