According to the manifest, Fred arrived at Ellis Island in New York Harbor on April 17, 1908 after leaving from Liverpool on April 11, 1908. The relative Fred lists as his point of contact in America is Karl "Charles" Winberg, his brother, in St. Paul, MN (see his album for his arrival manifest.) Note Fred's last place of residence, Aspelund, Zinkgruvan, which is a house photographed in the Klaus Fritzhof Winberg album.
